 Dues Remittance
National PTA receives $1.75, California State PTA receives $1.25, Ninth District receives $1.00, and San Diego Unified Council receives $0.50 of the membership dues collected. The remaining portion of the dues stays with the unit.
The amount of annual dues for each member is specified in their unit bylaws, Article IV Section 4.
To be eligible for Early Bird awards and recognitions, membership dues must be received by Council according to the date which is set annually by the executive board. It is usually in October.
To be in good standing, a unit should submit its first remittance to Council before November 1.
If a unit fails to forward its per capita dues by December 1, it forfeits representation at council meetings until the amount has been paid.
